May 10, Friday: Alaska Visitor industry’s Walk for Charity – Join Team FRA!
6 pm to 8 pm. $25 for adult, $15 for children. Rain or shine, all ages and abilities welcome!
Feast on fabulous food while raising funds for local charities. Whether you register on-line (http://www.explorefairbanks/charitywalk) or pick up a form at FRA (805 Airport Way) you can support FRA by listing us as your charity of choice. Then, meet up with Team FRA and walk with us! Please note – you need one form for each person walking. Register by May 3 to be eligible for prizes and avoid late registration fee. See you there!
May 11, Saturday, 2013: Bag it up on Clean-up day for FRA Closet Collections Clothing Round-up
10am – 3pm, at Fairbanks Resource Agency, 805 Airport Way. Bring clothing and fabric to benefit FRA programs and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. For every 10 pounds you donate, get a chance to win a prize! Come rain, sunshine, or snow, FRA staff and volunteers will there to collect your donations and provide refreshments.
February 9, 2013: Fairbanks Winter Folk Fest & FRA Closet Collections Clothing Drive

A Benefit in Action…What to do? Bring clothing, shoes, fabric of any kind and Enjoy a FREE music Fest. Thank you to all who donated, you are helping to support FRA programs for disabilities.
October 11, 2012: “8th Annual FRA City Sampler” fundraising event at the Westmark Gold Room. Sample cuisine from Fairbanks’ finest restaurants and caterers. Sample cuisine from Fairbanks’ finest restaurants and caterers. Enjoy food and wine, live music and fabulous door prizes. Proceeds benefit FRA Senior Services programs. September 8th, Saturday: FRA Closet Collections Clothing Drive. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our drive. Over 10,000 pounds were collected! Every pound turns into funding for FRA programs for people with disabilities. Remember, you can still bring your donations to FRA Closet Collection drop-off bins or call for free pick-up service at 451-7766. Visit Closet Collections web page for details.
August 4th, Saturday: Safety Care for Families. Westmark Hotel Rampart Room. 9a-3p. Limited space, $20 per person, lunch included. Please RSVP FRA Family Services at 456-8901.
